Don't Follow in My Footsteps. I Run Into Walls!

As my toe continues to throb and ache I sit typing this. GRRRRR!
I am by nature a clumsy person. I totally personify that skill mentioned above. Walking over a flat surface - oh yeah seems SOOOOO easy. Nope, it is a torture device installed by some sick person watching and laughing as I trip over nothing.
Lately it has been my big toe on the right foot. Or the wrong foot because it seems to belong to some masochistic club. It was injured a few months ago when we moved. I am sure in my usual way I dropped something on it. It actually got infected and fungusy. Is that a word? Who cares. It was fungusy. Thank the beautician gods that my sister, the manicurist genius she is, was able to cure it fast. So gross I don't even want to go there. I thought I was going to be spared the NASTY event of my toenail falling off, however about 3 weeks ago when I stubbed that blasted toe and had to cut most of it off. Since then I have managed to stub it or drop something on it daily.
Tonight when getting out of the tub, which yes it was a gloriously hot and fantastic bath, I lost my balance and instead of conking my head into the granite I stubbed, no jammed my big toe into the side of the tub. The poor toe. It has a death wish. It wants to be naked and vulnerable. Perhaps if I wear steel toe boots I can prevent any more damage. Well to my toe at least, I feel for all the doors, walls, boxes, tubs, people and animals that said toe protected in armor would smash into.
